Information & Communications Technology

At St. Brigid's we have invested heavily in ICT infrastructure. State of the art technology sees each class equipped with personal computers and an interactive whiteboard. All pupils have access to over 80 software titles via our school system which is supported by C2K. A permanent ICT suite also forms part of our ICT provision with wireless connectivity strategically positioned throughout the school. Through this wireless network we have also managed to provide laptop use in all classrooms via our portable computer suite. Working on a rota basis this means all classes can access the excellent ICT resources from the familiar surroundings of their own classroom.

We have recently purchased a set of "surface tablets" for use by the children. This provides them with further opportunities to access the latest technology for educational benefits.
